Located in the middle of Berwyn’s Cermak Plaza shopping mall, Dustin Shuler’s wacky piece of art served as the backdrop for the movie ‘Wayne’s World.’ It’s scheduled to be dismantled sometime in August or September to make way for a free standing Walgreen’s drug store. It has created a storm of controversy capped off by a mass protest led by some 2000 bicyclists associated with Chicago’s Critical Mass on July 27.
