Everything’s back up and running thanks to my ace blog designer, Mel, from em2 web studios. If you ever need a makeover—web sites or blogs, that is—be sure to check her out.
Balancing Act is now in not one, not two, but three shows. It has been selected to hang at the 3rd Annual Member’s International Exhibition at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Ft. Collins, CO beginning Friday, October 6, and also at the National Photography ‘06 exhibit at the Main Street Gallery in Groton, NY beginning October 26. In addition, it and BBQ will be hanging together at the Santa Cruz Art League’s National Photography Exhibit starting November 4. I’m batting 1.000!
A photo from my previously sharper photographic life, Watch The Birdie, has been selected to hang at the Caught In The Act show at the Ice Box Gallery in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The exhibit features photos of people taking photographs. The show begins with an opening reception at the gallery, 1500 Jackson St., Apt 443, Minneapolis, MN, on Saturday, November 11 and ends January 6, 2007. If you happen to live (or be) in the vicinity, be sure to stop by.
Kickin’ Up Sand was named second runnerup in the Photography competition for the 2006 PanLiterary Awards, sponsored by the international online journal of the arts, Drunken Boat.
